Description

The OJS Connector for OpenAIRE Graph is a plugin designed to enhance the integration of Open Journal Systems (OJS) with OpenAIRE, one of the largest open scholarly record collections worldwide. By aligning with OpenAIRE’s latest metadata standards, this plugin facilitates the seamless indexing of research outputs, improving discoverability and compliance with Open Science practices.

Key Benefits
  • Enhanced Discoverability: Increases the visibility of research outputs in OpenAIRE, making them more accessible to researchers and funders.

  • Up-to-Date Compliance: Supports the latest OpenAIRE 4.0 guidelines, ensuring metadata accuracy and consistency.

  • Automated Integration: Enables direct data aggregation without requiring manual validation via the OpenAIRE Helpdesk.

  • Improved Metadata Quality: Uses Journal Article Tag Suite (JATS) XML for richer and more structured metadata representation.

  • Better License Handling: Optimizes how Creative Commons (CC) licenses appear in metadata exports.
