Introduction

This collection contains workshops and training materials with the aim to raise awareness that technical standards are not in place for the sake of themselves but that their implementation is needed to fulfill crucial functionalities of open access.

Description

This collection of workshops and training materials includes e.g. hands-on checklists, self paced courses or coffee lecture recordings and is structured by topics. It addresses standards that facilitate reusability, visibility, availability, etc. on both a foundational and an advanced level. The material also provides information about existing technical solutions on journal platforms (such as OJS or Lodel) that enable journals to implement technical standards.
